Prostate Cancer Information Pack
In 2011 the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA) finalised a Localised Prostate Cancer Cancer Information Pack. The development and production of the Pack was sponsored by the Movember Foundation and Symbion, a pharmaceutical supplier. A Pack comprises a collection of booklets and other materials that the PCFA and its medical advisers feel would be of great interest to patients who have been diagnosed recently as having Prostate Cancer.
Selected executive members of the Prostate Cancer Support Group – ACT Region are serving as access points for the pack, making it available at no cost to people who live in the ACT or the surrounding region.
The executive members involved as distribution agents will ensure that patient confidentiality is guaranteed and appropriate sensitivity to the patient’s situation is observed. They will not provide advice in any form and will restrict their activity to simply serving as distribution agents for the Pack.
Men who have been diagnosed recently as having prostate cancer and are living in the ACT or surrounding region can contact one of the designated executive members listed below by ‘phone or email to arrange for delivery of the Pack to the patient’s home by the member, or collection by the patient at the member’s home:
